Living sustainably

SUSTAINABLE LIVING IS A BIG THING NOWADAYS. Many households have their solar electricity, waste water and rain water tanks set up so as to capture green energy and living on water that is essentially free.

A number of months ago SM decided to grow some veggies. I found a spot in our backyard where there is morning sun, and set up a vege patch. SM bought some plants and here are some of her outcome......

Broccoli growing

The Broccoli head in this one is just budding

I was just about to ask you what's happened to your vegie patch, since you are showing us animals around your backyard.

It has been quite sometime you didn't mention about vegie patch.

Now the CPL test is over, it's time to pick up the farming tools again, right ? hahaha

Ha ha ha.........hahaha. Firstly I have to mow my lawn! The grass has grown because we have had rains and showers. Then I have to pull all the weeds out! Yeah lots to do. spring is a good time to grow some fruit trees I reckon.

It's such a good idea to grow your own vegetable specially when you have the right weather to do so. The vege sure look good!
